Description:

Meloxicam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug with analgesic and fever reducer effects. Meloxicam  is an analgesic, anti-pyretic and anti-exudative effects.
Meloxicam acts by inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis with selective specificity for Cyclooxygenase-2  enzyme.
Meloxicam inhibit the production of thromboxane B2 induced by intravenous Ecoli endotoxin administration in calves. Meloxicam is as veterinary medicines, commonly in dogs, cattle, cats and exotics.

Indications and Usage:

Treatment of pneumonia, bronchopneumonia, arthritis, otitits etc. Veterinary Meloxicam Bolus is used in the treatment of Arthritis, Osteo-arthritis, Synovitis conditions Lameness, Sprain, Colic, FMD, Generalized edema, Otitis, Injury and Pneumonia. Compared to several other NSAIDs, Meloxicam is safe and selective in controlling inflammation, pain and fever. Long acting and rapid onset of action. Proved to be successful in treating Respiratory infections and Mastitis along with antibiotic therapy.
