Description:

Ivermectin belongs to class of medications called anthelmintic. Ivermectin works by killing the parasite by paralyzing it.

Ivermectin is used to treat various parasitic infestations of intestine, skin and hair infestation including scabies and pediculosis and certain inflammatory diseases.

VERMECTIN for veterinary use on DOGS, CATS, CATTLE, SHEEP, GOATS, PIG and POULTRY helps fight against external and internal parasites such as  worms, lice, mites, ticks and flies.

Indications and Usage:

Ivermectin Bolus is used for the treatment and control of internal parasites of cattles, Buffaloes and Sheep.

Cattle, Ivermectin is approved for use in the control of: gastrointestinal roundworms (adults and 4th stage larva), lungworms (adults and 4th stage larva), cattle grubs (parasitic stages), sucking lice, and mites (scabies). Swine, ivermectin is approved for use to treat GI roundworms, lungworms, lice, and mange mites. For a listing of individual species covered, refer to the product information.
Reindeer, ivermectin is approved for use in the control of warbles.
American Bison, ivermectin is approved for use in the control of grubs.
Dogs and Cats, ivermectin is approved only for use as a preventative for heartworm. It is also been used as a microfilaricide, slow-kill adulticide, ectoparasiticide and endoparasiticide.
